Chagas, a life-threatening disease spread by parasitic bugs is being dubbed the “new AIDS of the Americas” by researchers because its initial symptoms are hard to detect. The life-threatening parasite is transmitted by biting beetles, and can cause a person’s heart and intestines to swell and burst. According to a lengthy editorial in the journal PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, Chagas disease is slowly — and surreptitiously — spreading to the U.S. from Latin America.

I am not perfect either and I respect all of the sharing happening up in here. I am not going to share because I know real life people who read this here space and I’m terrified of being judged. Y’all are stronger than I am. Much respect.
I’m with her. I respect all of you. But my respect for you is outweighed (severely) by my fear of judgment, rejection and Hester Prynne levels of scorn. Also I’m pretty sure lots of honesty would piss some people off.

what do you think the best way to communicate those edits to me would be? TO CALL ME ON THE PHONE AND RECITE THEM TO ME? NO, THIS IS NOT THE WAY.

Nothing like goosebumps to begin your morning. It’s a very good cast and I’ve always felt like Les Mis needed a proper cinematic treatment. So excited for this one, more so than GATSBY and probably even more so than DJANGO.
