well, also, ben folds is from chapel hill, right? i’m pretty sure a friend of mine lived in the house he lived in off isley st. one of the rooms was still a ‘recording studio’.
That’s very true. Ben Folds was one of the easier “gets,” the way I understand it. I ran into him after that concert in MH. I was walking onto campus from my apartment and he was walking out of The Carolina Inn (where he undoubtedly was staying). And he asked me where Jack Sprat was. Pretty cool moment.
